ELSIL™fluorosilicon rubber compounds

ELSIL™ fluorosilicon rubber compounds are designed for the production of rubber products by molding and extrusion methods. They have high frost resistance (-60 °C), heat resistance (+200 °C), resistance to oils, gasoline and other aggressive media, and low residual compression deformation.

The warranty period of storage is 6 months from the date of manufacture.

The rubber compound intended for the manufacture of long RTI is vulcanized for 10 minutes at a temperature of (120±2)°C. The second stage of vulcanization is carried out at a temperature of (200±5) °C for 4 hours.

The mixture intended for the manufacture of molded RTI is vulcanized for 10 minutes at a temperature of (170±2)°C. The second stage of vulcanization is carried out at a temperature of (200±5)°C for 4 hours.

When manufacturing products by butt vulcanization, the rubber compound is applied to a section of a dry, fat-free surface. The ends of the profile are joined together and kept in a mold heated to the desired temperature (150-170°C) until the rubber mixture is completely vulcanized (10-30 minutes). In each individual case, preliminary tests are recommended to assess the adhesive strength.
